Excited to kick off the Horizon Europe project AQUAMON with an inspiring consortium of experts and innovators! The KoM took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, in the premises of hashtag#CERTH Centre for Research and Technology.
AQUAMON is set to revolutionize urban water management by developing an advanced, holistic monitoring and control system for the entire urban water cycle, helping us tackle pollution, public health risks, and climate challenges head-on.
Our mission? A cleaner environment, zero pollution, and safer water for all. We’ll achieve this by:
✅ Ensuring high-quality drinking water through real-time, in-situ monitoring of physico-chemical and microbiological parameters
✅ Reducing environmental and public health impacts with cutting-edge digital monitoring and decision-making tools
✅ Minimizing flood risks with integrated control of sewers and wastewater treatment plants
✅ Offering safe urban bathing waters with smart management systems, early warning tools, and citizen apps
✅ Restoring oceans, seas, and rivers using unmanned surface, underwater, and aerial vehicles for real-time data
✅ Promoting water reuse with sustainability standards aligned to climate goals
✅ Improving water governance through secure, interoperable data sharing across the water cycle
We’re proud to contribute to a sustainable water future—because clean water means a healthy planet.
